FAQ's

Learn more about us.

Can lab testing be done onsite or offsite?

Both! Onsite Check-Up events require a minimum of 25 participants. Our offsite lab partner is LabCorp, who has locations across all 50 states and is also expanding into Walgreens, now available in California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, and North Carolina.

Do all of the packages include education? Webinars? Newsletters?

Yes, HAWA Health believes in ongoing education to empower members through online resources, webinars, newsletters and consultations with the HAWA Health Care Team.

Does HAWA Health host challenges?

We are completing the HAWA Health Engage App this fall for iPhone and iPad users. Itʼs an exciting and fun engagement app that offers easy challenges for members to do throughout the day to keep focused on their healthy life. More importantly though, the HAWA Health Care Team will work with members on personalized challenges throughout the year. ex., challenges to lose weight, better manage their medication, increase their activity and reduce their chronic health conditions. We feel personal goal setting and achievement are the most impactful challenges.

Why would you recommend 33 test options vs 22? Which tests are included in each?

Our Complete Care Package (with the 33 test lab panel) offers a preventative screening panel that covers blood, kidney and liver disorders, anemia, infections, diabetes, thyroid and heart health. It encompasses all the tests that target early awareness of most and costliest chronic diseases. It not only provides an annual indicator of risks but also provides measurements to benchmark the success of past efforts. In contrast, the Core Care Package includes 22 valuable tests, but does not include anemia, blood disorders, thyroid or infections.

Is there a minimum for the onsite check-up?

The package rates assume a 25+ participation per event. If a smaller participation is expected, we would encourage all participants to be serviced at a LabCorp Patient Service Center instead of the employer location.

Can members purchase additional consultations or test options if they want?

Yes! Members may purchase additional test options or consultations if they would like, throughout the program.

When is someone considered a member?

We consider someone a member when they first login to the HAWA Virtual Healthcare System.
